THE Glenorchy Youth Task Force is once again championing the national suicide prevention campaign R U OK? Day by hosting an event on the Glenorchy City Council lawns on Thursday 14 September.
Glenorchy Youth Task Force members, with assistance from service providers, are reminding people to have meaningful conversations with those they care about.
Now in its third year, the event aims to give people the confidence to support those who are struggling, while also raising awareness of local support services.
The Task Force invites all members of the community to join them for an afternoon of free entertainment, food and activities, including a conversation café, barbecue, lolly buffet and free compliments.
