LEPRENA Aboriginal Community Centre celebrated Child Protection Week in September.
Children and adults dressed up as their favourite superhero to celebrate the significance of real-life heroes.
During the day, the children went on a bear hunt and completed an obstacle course.
Save the Children Australia spoke to the children about what makes them feel scared, and who they should speak to if they are feeling unsafe.
The conversations included discussion on who are the real heroes in the lives of the children, including people who were there to help them the most.
The event finished with a morning tea.
All families with young children are invited to come along to Leprena Play2Learn from 9.30am-11am every Tuesday at 280 Main Road, Glenorchy.
